Randy Graham
On August 10, 2010, Randy Graham passed away in Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert. He was 67 years old. Randy was predeceased by his mother, Edna Graham, brother Ellis Bond and sister Dorothy Denney. Left to lovingly remember him, his wife of 42 years, Verda Graham (nee Childerhose), sons Curtis Graham of Red Deer, AS and Kelly (Brooke) Graham of Saskatoon and his two grandchildren - the joy of his life -- Molly and Owen; two brothers-in-law, Keith (Elaine) Childerhose of Mt. Morris, Michigan, and Floyd (Marjorie) Childerhose of Outlook. Randy grew up in Kindersley, SK where he met his true love, Verda. They married in 1968 and moved to Prince Albert where Randy worked as a Meat Cutter for the OK Economy. He was later employed as a Custodian in the Sask Rivers School Division. Randy's big blue eyes, smile and sense of humor allowed him to make friends wherever he went. He will be fondly remembered for his love of people, coffee and conversation. He'll be sorely missed by his pals on coffee row. It is almost impossible to speak of Randy without laughter and a smile. Randy's wide range of hobbies were often a hot topic of conversation and ranged from coin collections to photography to hedgehog breeding. Randy was a truly thoughtful and generous man. It brought him so much joy to give to his loved ones. The family wishes to thank the Nursing staff at Victoria Union for their excellent care and compassion throughout this difficult journey. The funeral will take place on Monday, August 16th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Prince Albert, SK. Those who knew Randy best will understand the family's request for a "necktie sensitive" service. At the family's request, memorial donations be made to a charity of one's choice or to Arlington Beach Camp where Randy and his family spent many happy summers together. Arrangements are in care of the Outlook Funeral Chapel 867-8255.
