Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on August 11, 2010 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax, NS after a long and courageous battle, David Allison Bradbury. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Edna Bradbury. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley (Slade); daughters: Cherie (James), grandson Jonathan (Grampy's little man), Colleen (Jason); brothers: George (Mary), Donald (Yvonne), Robert (Shirley), father-in-law Myles Slade; brothers-in-law Joseph, Everett (Maureen), Bert (Helen), and Harrison, along with many nieces and nephews. He continued to reveal his loving and generous spirit to the very end of his life on earth. The family cherishes the last few days spent together to share, laugh and love each other. He was an inspiration to us all. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m., 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from George Street United Church. A private family committal will be held in Salmon Cove, NL on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the IMCU Queen Elizabeth II Hospital with a special thank you to Dr. John Sullivan.
