ROBINS – It is with heavy hearts that we wish to announce the passing of Gordon Victor Robins on Monday, May 25, 2009. He was 66 years young and was a loved son, husband, father, grandfather and outlaw. Gordon leaves behind his beloved wife of 38 years, Marlene; his daughter, Wanda (Blake); his son, Christopher (Magdalen); grandchildren, Isabella, Angelica and Nathaniel; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father; Victor; his mother; Margaret [Peggy]; sister, Doreen; and, brother, Barry. He is survived by his sister Kathleen. Gordon was a loving, gentle soul. He was quick-witted, a practical joker, loved music and, especially loved dancing. His work-life was composed of autobody man, Kwik Kerb owner, school bus driver and an all-around handy man. Gordon’s first love was his family and was extremely proud of all of them. He had a special spot for his grand kids and was looking forward to having more “Sweet Peas.†He always made you laugh, feel welcome and, was extremely generous. He was most often called “Gordie†by those who called him a friend and served his community as a Captain for the Pilot Butte Volunteer Fire Department. Gordon passed away peacefully with his family by his side. The special years will not return when we were all together, but with the love inside our hearts, you will walk with us forever.
