It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret (Maggie) Sarah Simms announce her passing at the Long Term Care Facility, Corner Brook, on Friday, August 13, 2010, at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her three daughters: Mary Lynn (George) Walters of Isle aux Mort, Beatrice (Reuben) Priddle of Winnipeg, Marge (Gary) Parsons of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Jonathan, Justin, Jason, Gregory, Danny, Amy and Jennifer; great-grandchildren: Jayden and Olivia, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Harry; her two brothers: William and Henry and sister, Beatrice Piercey. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Michaels Anglican Church, Park Drive, Corner Brook, on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Canon Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Michaels Memorial Church Fund.
