The death of Helen Carpenter of Hampton, widow of Clarence Carpenter, occurred August 14, 2010 at Kings Way Care Centre, Quispamsis. She was born at Chipman, daughter of the late Leslie and Bella (Carlin) Glenn. Survived by one daughter, Beverley Good (John) of Hampton; one son Frederick Carpenter (Paolien) of Saint John; one stepson Raymond (Alice) Carpenter of Campbell River, BC; one sister, Juanita Ladd, Moncton, one brother, Otty Glenn (Phyllis) of Chipman; five grandchildren Kim (J.P) Good-Quinn, Brenda Good, Darlene Good, Joselyn (Troy) Lawrence and Gaia Carpenter and six Great grandchildren, Morgan and Mason MacDonald, John and Vanessa Quinn, Jamie and Jenna Lawrence. Helen was predeceased by four sisters, Bernice McLeod, Tillie Boyd, Muriel Boyd, Ferne Stevens and three brothers Hollie, Everette, and Vernon Glenn.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday at Chipman United Church with service at 2pm. Interment in Chipman Red Bank Cemetery. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Sunday, 7 to 9pm, and Monday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
