BOETTCHER, Elsie, loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother, went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital with her husband at her side. Elsie was born on Jan. 7, 1930 in Hilda, Alberta. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her husband John; 12 children, Linda (Darwin) Brown, Donna, Gloria (Peter) Wall, Stan (Donna), Sharon (Denny) Lish, Al (Ruth), Darrell (Cathy), Gord (Leigh), Dave (Rhonda), Bob (Diana), Darcy (Johanna), Barb (Scott) McLean; 25 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters Vi (Dave) Ratcliffe & Shirley (Richard) Cuell and her brother Gerald Wendt; 2 brothers-in-law, 6 sisters-in-law, numerous nieces & nephews and many friends. Elsie is predeceased by her parents Fred & Lydia (Warm) Wendt; her parents-in-law Nathaniel & Martha (Plitt) Boettcher and 4 brothers-in-law. Elsie loved and gave of herself to her Lord, her family, her neighbours and all who came in contact with her. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Alliance Church, Prince Albert. Arrangements are in care of MacKenzie Funeral Home 763-8488. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care & support given to Mom during her stay at the Vic Hospital.
