Marjorie MacQueen, 72 of Prime Brook, passed away at home on Thursday, August 19, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Harris and Doreen (Williams) Reid.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; sons, Billy (Doreen), Sudbury, Dougie (Brenda), Westmount; daughter, Valerie (Bob) Barclay, Kingston, N.S.; sisters, Evelyn Carver, Sydney, Irene (Lorne) MacLellan, Sydney Mines, Velma (Richard) Wace, Toronto; sister-in-law, Helen Reid, Sydney; brothers, Neil (Margie) Reid, Cecil Reid and Lloyd (Francie) Reid, all of Sydney; also survived by six grandchildren, Bretonie MacQueen, Harrison MacQueen, Michelle MacQueen, Kyle MacQueen, Geoffrey Barclay and Katlin Barclay.
She was predeceased by a son, Bradley; brothers, Wilfred and Melvin and sisters, Mildred and Lena (Lou) Evans.
There will be no visitation by request. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the cancer unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
