With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Frank Phillippo, on Friday May 29, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Frank will be greatly missed by his daughters, Linda (Cecil) Dacre, Fran (Walter) Crane; granddaughter, Monica Crane; sisters, Madeline Ponee, and Edwardine Reid; brothers, John (Flossie) and Joseph, the many nieces and nephews he loved dearly and a wide circle of friends.
Frank was predeceased by his partner of 31 years, Patsy Stamper; one sister, and five brothers.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of Frank\'s life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating.
Reception to follow at Chant\'s.
