Served with the RCAF. Born September 25, 1920 - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on August 18th, 2010. Predeceased by her brother Bill in 1942 (lost on the Caribou). Leaving to mourn her husband of 67 years, Tom; sons Bill (Anna), Geoff (Barb) and daughter Jennifer (Joe); granddaughters: Kimberly (Mark), Jennifer Kendrick (Duncan), Allison Tucker; great- grandchildren: Lilly Jane and Thomas Geoffrey Kendrick; sisters: Sara Finn (St. John's), Jean Hayre (St. Stephen, N.B.); brothers: Doug (Ferryland), Stan (Barb) Tilsonburg, Ontario, Frank (Jeanette), Ferryland; brothers-in-law: Bill Goodyear (Lorna) British Columbia, Doug Goodyear (Vi) Mount Pearl and sister-in-law: Victoria Luscombe (Bill) St. John's, as well as a large circle of friends. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's on Friday, August 20th, 2010 from 10-noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be at The Carnell Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 21st, 2010.
