The passing of William Guy MacLaggan of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Grace (Fraser) MacLaggan occurred on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 1, 1912 in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Annie (MacDonald) MacLaggan. He was a veteran of WWII. William was a member of Evangel Assembly. He was a self employed electrical contractor. William is survived by his sons, Peter of Fredericton, NB and Timothy of Sussex, NB; daughter, Catherine MacLaggan of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jeffrey Harvey and Jamie Lee MacLaggan; brother, Rolfe MacLaggan of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a granddaughter; sisters, Gertrude MacDonald, Ruby Fullarton and Gracie Manzer; brothers, Fred, MacDonald and Lloyd; half brothers, George and Lyle MacLaggan.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday from 12:30 until 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service with Rev. Bob Dunlop officiating.
