Stephenville

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alma Alexander announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Monday, August 23rd, 2010 at the age of 77 years. She had a long involvement with the Stephenville Festival Theatre and in the early years with the Bay Theatre Company. She will be sadly missed by her husband Cletus, two brothers: Donald (Deborah) Hillier in Brantford, Ontario, Gilvey (Kathy) Hillier of Corner Brook. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Maxwell and Olive Hillier, two brothers: Allan Hillier and Roy Hillier and one sister Rita Allix. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, August 25th. at 10:30 am from Russell's Funeral Home Chapel on Queen Street, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
