Grace Brown, 95, Of North Head Grand Manan Island passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home Monday, August 23, 2010. She was born on January 12, 1915 in North Head the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mabel (Hatt) Tatton. Survived by her two daughters Mary (Murray) Brown of Grand Harbour, Nancy (Roger) Nason of Fredericton. Six sons; Ron (Maxine) of Woodwards Cove, Valery (Bud) (Margot) of North Head, Robert (Joan) of North Head, Arthur (Cheryl) of North Head, Blair (Claudette) of Florida USA, and Jerry of North Head. Twenty four grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd, one granddaughter Laureen. Two sisters Isabelle Denton, and Kathryn Wilson. Also two brothers Weldon and Beverly Tatton.
Visiting will take place from Ells Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the North Head Wesleyan Church on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ron Ford officiating and Rev. Jasper Rideout assisting. The interment will follow at the North Head Cemetery. Grace's family has requested that donations may be made to the North Head Cemetery Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
