George Farrell
The passing of George Wayne Farrell of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 11, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Caroline "Carrie" Tyler and the late Ronald Farrell. George served in the navy briefly. He was a bartender at the Marysville Legion. He was a member of the Marysville Legion Branch # 15. George enjoyed hunting and being in the woods. In addition to his mother, George is survived by his sisters, Doris Lapointe (Paul) of Kitchener, ON, Shirley L. Farrell of Fredericton, NB and Margaret Benoit (Jacques) of Montreal, QC; brother, Donald Farrell (Angela) of Scarborough, ON; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Gladys; brother-in-law, Merlin; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Doak and brothers, Charles and Clinton.
There will be a Graveside Service at Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 1:30 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Marysville Legion Branch # 15.
