In 1950 she moved to Welland, Ont., where she married her hometown sweetheart the late Jim Dyet. They settled in Port Colborne where they raised three sons, Jimmie, David and Kenny (deceased).
Survived by sons, Jimmie and David; sister, Anne Bachelet; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by sister, Queenie King; brothers, Cecil, Alex, Enos and Russell Ash.
