The death of Patricia J. Murphy of 85 Park Drive, Rothesay, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday August 27, 2010. Born in Saint John, Pat was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McGuiggan) Murphy. She had been employed for most of her career with Royal Trust as an Executive Assistant. Pat was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two nephews and several cousins, including her good friend, Helen Crowley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay, on Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Romero House-Soup Kitchen would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank Olga McCormick for being such a great friend, neighbour, and caring person.
