Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 27, 2010, Robert Allen Dyckson, retired member, United States Air Force and avid sports fisherman in his 78th year. Predeceased by his parents: Andrew and Emma Jeanette and brother, Thomas. Leaving to mourn wife Emily (nee Mercer); sons: Frank (Barbara), Michigan, Robert (Nancy), Gander, Joseph (Laura), Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters: April (Andre Sirois), Creemore, Ont., Karen Sweet, Rockledge, Fl., Grandchildren: Jeffery and Evan Sweet, Ben Sirois; brother Frank (Helen), Hudson, Fl., special cousin Frank Chesnalavage, Warminster, PA, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. At Bob's request, cremation has taken place. No visitation. In celebration of his life a Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Spaniard's Bay on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. Private inurnment to follow at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Bay Roberts. Donations in Robert's name may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangement's entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts.
