With sadness, we announce the death of our beloved brother Frank on May 23, 2009, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He was born on January 29, 1950 in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, John Francis and Anne Elizabeth (Morrison) MacInnis.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Harnois, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and her children, Susan (Jim Cahill), Steven (Joy) and John; his sister Catherine Leitch and her husband Bob of Perth, Ont. and their children, Matthew (Henna) and Jonathan (Ashwini) and his brother, Donald MacInnis (Anna) of Grand Narrows, Nova Scotia.
Frank graduated from Rankin Memorial High School in Iona and attended St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish. He pursued a variety careers throughout his life. Most recently, he volunteered with The Coast Foundation in Vancouver. He was an avid gardener, reader and lover of music. He resided in Vancouver for the past 23 years.
Arrangements are being handled by Kearney Funeral Home, Vancouver. Services will be private.
