NEW GLASGOW – John Robert (Bobby) MacLeod, age 71, of High Crest Home, Forbes St., New Glasgow, passed away May 31, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Isaac’s Harbour, May 5, 1938, he was a son of the late William Lester and Mary (Moore) MacLeod.
He had resided on James St., New Glasgow before moving to High Crest Home. He enjoyed drawing, writing songs and loved to whittle.
He is survived by brother, Billy MacLeod, Thorburn; sister, Isabel Dean, Stellarton; half-sister, Agnes Macumber, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Esther MacInnis.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Thorburn.
