Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, William "Bill" Doran of Harbour Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by 1st. wife Joan, 2nd wife Camilla, parents William and Margaret, son-in-law Alphonsus White, daughter-in-law Barbara Doran. Leaving to mourn wife Louise; four daughters: Ann Marie (Keith) Gibson, South Carolina, USA, Mary Doran (Edward Slade), Carbonear and Margaret (Tony) Pye, Gander and Cathy (Greg) Patzer, Alberta; two sons: Brian, Carbonear and Kevin (Cathy), Alberta; step-daughters: Leanne Martin (Shannon Cleary), St. John's, Stephanie Martin (Roger Higdon) and Mary (Rob Matthews), both of Nova Scotia; step-daughters: Cathy (Terry) Kennedy, Burin and Ann (Steve) Kennedy, Marystown; step-sons: Bishop Brian Dunn, Antigonish, NS and Joseph Dunn, Edmonton, AB; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Isabelle (Harold) Laing, Carbonear; brothers-in-law: Dereck (Cindy) Clarke, St. John's, Bren (Helen) Thomey and John (Lillian) Thomey, both of Harbour Grace and Ronald (Bride) Thomey, Calgary, AB; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
