The death occurred very peacefully at the Prince County Hospital with his family by his side on Monday June 1, 2009, of Ralph Gallant of Summerside, formerly of St. Timothy at the age of 64 years. He is survived by his wife Shirley and his five sons Wayne (Tammy) of Summerside, David (Kathy) of St. Timothy, Dale (Kelly) of Belmont, Steven (Marcia) of Union Corner, and Kevin (Kerry) of Sea View and also a special friend Phyllis Duggan. Also survived by brother, Clarence (Eunice) of Cape Egmont, and a sister, Elsie Murray (Lawrence Arsenault) of Summerside, and sister-in-law, Theresa Gallant of Cape Egmont, and by 13 grandchildren. Besides his parents, Avis and Agatha (nee Thompson) Gallant, he was predeceased by a brother, Clifford (MAY 29, 2009) and numerous aunts and uncles. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville until Thursday, June 4, 2009, then to Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel, for funeral mass at 3:30 p.m. Visitation shall be received on Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
