Helen Marie Pettipas passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Mary Jane and John Lively.
She is survived by husband, Arthur of 62 years; sons, Allan (Gail Rafuse), Kevin (Vanessa), Keith (Theresa); daughters, Patricia Walker, Deborah (Tom) Osborne, all of Sydney.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, David, Dana, Jeffrey, Daniel, Stacey, Colin and Cara and one great-grandson, Logan; sisters, Gladys MacKenzie, South Bar, Virgina Sudds, Ontario, Phyllis Sudds, Halifax; also one aunt, Evelyn French, Sydney.
She was also predeceased by brothers, Jack, Buddy and Wayne Lively, and one son-in-law, Francis (Bubba) Walker.
There will be no visitation. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Errol MacDonald officiating.
