Gallant
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, of Phoebe Gallant, of Summerside, aged 90 years. Born in Marshfield, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Catherine Gallant. Survived by her children Ivan (Shirley), Rocky Point; Louis (Janet), Chelton; Myrna McNally, Coleman; Wayne (Sherry), Summerside; Peter (Darlene), Calgary, AB; Janet (Jerry) Tourout, Calgary, AB; Catherine (Bob) Graham, Summerside; daughters-in-law Susan Gallant, Rocky Point and Olivene Gallant, Summerside; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Irene Gallant; brother-in-law Frank Perry; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Leona Perry and Vivian Yeo. Predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Gallant; and her children Karen, Frank and Blair; brothers Joseph and James Gallant; sisters Alice Perry, Catherine Chowen, Sarah Gallant and Doris Gallant. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Hospice Palliative Care Association would be appreciated.
