George Sudds
George Sudds, age 87, of Oromocto, formerly of Sackville, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Sunday, May 24, 2009. Born in Lewisham, England, he was a son of the late Robert and Eliza (Bush) Sudds. George was employed at Sackville Enamel and Heating for 39 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Royal Air Force and with the Royal Sussex Regiment of the British Army.  He was a member of the Sackville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. George will be sadly missed by grandsons,  Christopher, of Olive River, Yukon and Jason (Laura) of Oromocto, N.B.; one great grandchild, Nicholaus. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret and daughter Brenda. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, N.B., (506-364-1300) where visiting hours took place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was held from the funeral home on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the Westcock Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
