The passing of Maxine Dora (Jones) Haines, wife of the late Austin Haines, of Keswick Ridge, occurred on September 8, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 11, 1925 in Keswick, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Annie (Evans) Jones. She was an employee at Clark Chick Hatchery for many years. Maxine was a member of the Keswick Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Judy LeBlanc (Donnie) of Keswick Ridge; two sons, Edwin (Cindy Hunter) and Peter (Sheila) both of Fredericton; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Irene) and Gordon (Audrey) both of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Beatrice Cooper and Mavis MacAlpine; three brothers, Laurence, Charlie and Russell Jones.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home Ltd., 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Jonathan McKay officiating. Interment will take place in the Keswick Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Keswick Cemetery, Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
