Margaret H. (Whalen) Curran, 96, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in New Jersey, at the home of her daughter, Eileen, with whom she was residing at the time.
Margaret was born Sept. 1, 1913 in Colliers, Newfoundland. She was a former resident of Sydney, residing at Elmwood Avenue and lastly at Wesley Street with her son, William, before moving to New Jersey to be with her daughter.
She is survived by her loving children, William Curran, Mary Pozar and Eileen (Frank) O'Grady. Margaret is also survived by her 12 cherished grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick Curran; her daughter, Betty and her sons, Thomas and Patrick.
