Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, September 5, 2010, Edward J. Wrice of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife: Hazel; daughter: Joanne; sons: Rodrick, John and Edward; brothers: Leo and Lawrence; sister: Mary. Left to mourn, five daughters: Theresa (Harold) Peddle, Harbour Grace, Rosemary Wrice, Carbonear, Madonna Wrice, Spaniard's Bay, Cynthia Kaloo, Guelph, ON and Debbie (Stanley) Conway, Carbonear; two sons: Jerome (Rowena) and Wallace (Mary), both of Carbonear; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother: William, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Fr. F.J. Aylward conducted the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 8 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment was in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
