The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, on her 66th birthday, of Betty Jenkins, formerly of Cross Roads. Predeceased by her parents, Winston and Lillian (Robertson) Jenkins.
She is remembered by her many cousins, especially Jeannette Jenkins and Barry and Bev Murphy, and by her friends and caregivers in the Tremploy Group, the Dawn Group, the St. Peter's Group Home and the Prince Edward Home.
Visitation will be at the Hillsboro Funeral Home in Stratford on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2009, from Alexandra Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
