Ida P. Stockall 87, formerly of Golden Years Estates and Church Court, Moncton, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice (Dodge) Jamieson of Moncton. Ida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of Central United Church, the Mary Smart Unit of the U.C.W, a former member of the Silver Sands Senior Citizens Club in Shediac, former member of the Entertainment Committee at Church Court and a loyal bridge player to her bridge club. Ida will be sadly missed by her children, Linda Hodgson (Brian), Shediac Cape, David Stockall (Mary-Rose), Dartmouth, NS, Susan MacLeod (Bruce), Lantz, NS, Doug Stockall (Linda), Moncton; grandchildren, Stephanie, Billy, Melanie, Nick, Lori, Darren, Christa and Kelly; eight great grandchildren; brother, David Jamieson (Isabel), Moncton; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, W. Ellis Stockall (September 1995); brother, Jack Jamieson (Betty), of Sydney, NS.
