Passed peacefully away September 11, 2010, at her home on Bell Island, age 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Stephen (1998) and son Wallace (1990). Leaving to mourn six sons: Duane (Yvonne), Robert (Betty), Richard, Wayne (Carmen), Keith and Gerald (Debbie); three daughters: Margaret (Ross), Cynthia (Dave) and Bernice (Dee); special grandson Michael (Fiona); two sisters: Elizabeth (Otto) and Daphne; two brothers: Wallace (Louise) and Gerald; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the wonderful home support staff Carmel Hynes and Carol Brown, the staff at Tremblett's Ambulance Service on Bell Island and the dialysis unit at the Health Sciences Centre for their special care and support. Rested at Pendergast's Funeral home, Quigley's Line, Bell Island on Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. also on Monday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, from St. Michael's Parish. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted.
