Roger passed away July 23, 2010 in his home away from home, Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Funeral and cremation services were performed in Saskatchewan. A small service will be held in Norris Point, NL on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the new cemetery. Roger was predeceased by his mother Katherine Maynard, father George Gale, sister Kathy Gale and brother Rick Gale. Roger will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his children: Ashley, Ricky, Stephanie of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan; step-father Victor Maynard of Embree, NL; brother George Gale (Debbie), Christopher, Jordan, Brendan of Corner Brook, NL; sister Patsy Rumbolt (Darrell), Natasha, Gregory of Edmonton, AB; brother Todd Gale (Mo), Robbie of Corner Brook, NL; sister Vicki Nippard (Albert) of Embree, NL.
