After an extended decline in health, but not in Spirit! Mary Lillian Smith (nee Andrews) passed away peacefully in Burlington, Ontario on July 9th, 2010 at the age of 93. Born in Port-de-Grave, Newfoundland in 1916 and predeceased by her husband Clarence, son Roy and brothers George and Edgar Andrews. Lil or Aunt Lil (as she was known by her family and friends) will be missed by her son Melvin, grandsons Geoffrey & Jeremy and daughter-in-law Brenda, as well as her nieces and nephews: Mary, Ethel, Rosalyn, Karen, Charlotte, Gerald and David as well as her extended family and friends. Lil will be missed by all who knew and loved her feisty spirit and big laugh! Interment will take place in Port-de-Grave at a later date. Her many memorable stories of her life in Newfoundland and Labrador will be forever cherished by her family
