Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2009, Dolorosa (Dots) Ash (nee Nash), age 76 years. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Agnes, and brother Reverend Br. Dermod Nash. Leaving to mourn with loving memories friend, partner and husband of 54 years Nelson; children Ken (Carina) Paris, France; Don (Frances), St. John’s; Janet (Max) Parsons, Freeport, Grand Bahama; Colin (Sandy), Edmonton, Alberta; cherished grandchildren Ken, Michael, Jason, Jessica, Kathryn, Ryan, Taylor, Matthew and Michael; siblings Maurice (Joan) Nash, Edmonton, Alberta; Art (Lillian) Nash, Long Island, New York; Eileen Donaldson, San Diego, California; Mary (Len) Madden, St. John’s and Eva Nash, St. John’s; and a large circle of other family and friends, especially Pat, Maureen, Eleanor and Kay. At Dots’ request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. from St. Pius X Church, Smithville Crescent. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Special thanks, for their care and compassion, to the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, the staff of the Dr.H.
