The passing of David Alexander O'Donnell of McNamee, NB occurred on September 14, 2010 on the Miramichi River while enjoying his favorite pastime- fishing. Born March 12, 1931 in McNamee, NB the son of the late Johnston and Vina O'Donnell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vera O'Donnell (Stewart); daughters Sylvia (David) Lyons and Tanya (Ronaldo) Lopez; sons Kevin (Carla), Ted (Brenda), Tony (Sandra) and Barry (April). Grandchildren Nicky (Tonia), Shawn (Heather), Kathya, Christopher, Kristen, Megan (Jody), Mike, Chantel (Ben), Cheyenne, Shania and chosen grandchildren Randy (Brenda), Lisa (Danny), Krista (Devin); several great grandchildren and 'adopted' daughter Viv O'Donnell. Sisters Velma and Henrietta; brothers Donald, Freddy and Richard. Predeceased by Sister Christina and Brothers Cyril, Nathan and Jimmy. You would often find David on the Miramichi fishing and guiding, in the wood pile or gathered around the table with family and friends enjoying a great meal. He loved his family and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
Burial will be held at the Porter Cove Cemetery, to be announced.
