Morrey, Bruce L. - 45, Truro passed away June 4, 2009 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Medicine Hat, Alta., he was a son of the late Doreen (Hoogeveen) Morrey. Bruce worked as a machinist in the oil industry for many years. He and Susan loved going fishing. He was also passionate about his cooking and loved watching the cooking shows. He was an exceptional husband and best friend to Susan. He is survived by his wife Susan (Cavanaugh); daughter, Lisa, Truro; step-daughter, Shannon Deickman, Baltimore, Maryland; sons, Scott, Vancouver, Stephen, Edmonton, Alta.; stepsons, Ira IV (Stacy), Sean, both of Maryland; sisters, Sharon (Dave) Mickey, Red Cliff, Alta., Brenda Morrey, Medicine Hat, Alta., Sherry Morrey, Edmonton, Alta; grandchildren, Haley and Madison Deickman, Ira Nicholas V; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8th from 7-9 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro; Memorial Service on Tuesday, June 9th at 1:00 pm in Immanuel Baptist Church, 295 Young Street, Truro with Rev.
