Morgan, Blanche - Blanche was born in Horwood on Aug. 28, 1916 to the late Peter and Maria Penney. Married to the late Leslie Morgan, she spent the last four years at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre in Botwood. She peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wed., Sept. 15, 2010 at the age of 94. She and her late husband raised a son (Danny) and a daughter (the late Mrs. Triffie LeDrew). As a homemaker, Blanche was an active member of the Salvation Army Church on Change Islands and was well known throughout the community as "Aunt Bee". She leaves behind to mourn her son Danny (Margaret), seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her parents, husband (Mr. Leslie Morgan), daughter (Mrs. Triffie LeDrew), two sisters and three brothers. God has sent an Angel to take his Angel home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund.
