Helen Victoria Tracy 1918 - 2010
Helen V. Tracy, 92, of Riverview and formerly of Dorchester, N.B., passed away peacefully in her sleep at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010.
Born in Moncton, N.B.; she was the daughter of the late William R. and Annie M. (Fletcher) Parker. Helen was a member of Whitepine Baptist Church in Riverview and a member of Dorchester Baptist Church from 1953 to 1998. She was a member of Dorothy Barnett WMS in Dorchester and Whitepine Baptist Church WMS. She was also a member of the Dorchester Shepody Chapter of the IODE.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters Lynn (Lorne) Mitton of Nasonworth, N.B., and Vicki (Brian) LeBlanc of Riverview; her son David (Lois) Tracy of Kentville, N.S.; as well as nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband David Frank Tracy in 1997.
The family received relatives and friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, N.B., on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, from 2-4 p.m.
The Funeral Service was held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Frank Trail officiating.
Interment was in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Helen's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
