It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Lloyd Elliott, age 79, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

Predeceased by his daughter - Sandra Notley; parents - Tom & Hazel Elliott; brothers - Randolph Elliott and Malcolm Elliott; parents-in-law - Benjamin & Alice Brinston; siblings-in-law - Nelson Brinston, Walter Brinston, and Hazel Brinston.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife - Ethel Elliott, Baie Verte, NL; children - Juanita Greenham (Gordon), Pacquet, NL, Jeffrey Elliott (Janet), Triton, NL, and Shawn Elliott (Tia), Middle Arm, NL; son-in-law - Wilfred Notley, Port Hope Simpson, NL; grandchildren - Laura Mitchell (Floyd), Tommy Elliott, Lorna Abbott (Jonathan), Laurel Greenham, Alisha Elliott, Ronald Elliott, Jarvis Elliott, Allison Elliott, Robin Elliott, Jadon Elliott, and Colby Elliott; great-grandchildren - Holly Mitchell, Dylan Mitchell, Patrick Elliott, and Alexis Abbott; sister-in-law - Susie Brinston; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Rev. Christina Hague, assisted by son - Pastor Jeffrey Elliott, conducted the funeral service at First United Church and Cemetery, Pacquet, NL on Saturday, September 18, 2010.

Pallbearers were sons - Jeffrey Elliott and Shawn Elliott, son-in-law - Wilfred Notley, grandsons - Tommy Elliott and Jarvis Elliott, and nephew - Randy Elliott, , and the honourary pallbearers were grandchildren - Laurel Greenham and Jadon Elliott.
