Wallace
R. Milton Wallace, 89, of Moncton, NB, passed peacefully away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010. Born in Apohaqui, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Moore) Wallace. A pharmacist, Milton retired from the Moncton Hospital Pharmacy in 1986 and was a member of St. Philip's Anglican Church. He was a Veteran of WWII, having served overseas from 1944 to 1946 with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (England, North West Europe, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany) and for nearly a year with the Army of Occupation in Germany after the war ended. Milton was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, Moncton, an Honorary Life Member of the NB Pharmaceutical Society, member of the NB Pharmacists Association, the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association and Past President, NB Branch, of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, as well as the Probus Club and the K-40 Club. Milton enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Milton will be sadly missed by his wife of over 62 years, Marjorie L. (Daly) Wallace, Moncton; daughter, Beth Ramsay (Ken), Kensington, PE; grandchildren, Mary of Kensington, PE, Margaret and Jim, both of Toronto, ON; sister, Pauline Mae Hocking of Scarborough, ON; sister-in-law, Mary Jenkins (Don), Sussex; five nieces, two nephews, several cousins and extended family members.
In honoring Milton's wishes, there will be no public visitation hours. Moncton Legion Branch #6 Memorial Service, Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, 11 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at St. Philip's Anglican Church, Archdeacon R. B. Stockall officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
