SKINNER, Marie V.– Passed peacefully away after a short illness at Morristown, New Jersey, USA on Friday, October 3, 2008, Marie V. Skinner of Carbonear, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband Edmund “Ed”, two sisters Mildred and Dorothy, four brothers Leo, Malcolm, Clyde and Fred. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Anne (Carl) Kleemeyer, Morristown, NJ, USA and Elsie (Ches) Fillier, Clarke’s Beach; two sons: Harold (Jean), Bowie, Maryland, USA and Don (Melinda), Spaniard’s Bay; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Richard), Heather, John, Amy (Patrick), Christopher and Marcus; one great-grandchild Malcolm; one brother Henry Hollett, North Sydney, NS and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR after 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
