It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isabelle Curnew announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, September 20, 2010 at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by three sons: Bill (Diane) Curnew of Toronto, Pat (Linda) Curnew of Toronto, Stephen Curnew of Nova Scotia, four daughters; Mary Beaton of Stephenville, Clara (Gerald) Courtney of Stephenville, Evelyn Courtney of Stephenville, Josephine (George) Billiavue of Toronto, one sister, Mario Abbott of Gander, 34 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren, 8 great great great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William Curnew, six sons, Michael, Francis, John, Otto, Glenn, Jack and one daughter, Margaret Skinner. Cremation has taken place. A private family funeral service will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
