THORNE, Leonard Patrick– Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, October 5, 2008, Leonard P. Thorne age 62 years. Leaving to mourn wife Irene; two sons Michael of Torbay and Darren (Gail) of Edmonton, Alberta; two special grandsons Brendon and Adrian of Edmonton, Alberta; two brothers Peter and Richard (Joan) of Torbay; special aunt Mary Thorne of St. John's; two sisters-in-law Mary Power and Catherine Crawley of Flatrock; three brothers-in-law Ken Power of Flatrock, Kevin Power (Trudy) of St. John’s and Thomas Power (Gladys) of Flatrock; also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay.
