Brian Frederick McNamara of Saint John passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 24, 2010. Born May of 1948 to the late John Michael and Mary Madeline (Gallant) McNamara. Brian was a Correctional Officer and worked for the Department of Public Safety at the SJRCC for over 27 years, retiring in 2008. Brian is survived by his precious daughter Brianne McNamara and her mother Brenda McNeill of Milton, ON; two sisters Beth Creary (Paul) and Ann Glynn (Bob) and one brother John McNamara (Donna) all of Saint John; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday September 28th from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held from St. Peters Catholic Church 50 Clarendon St. Saint John, NB on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
