Noreen E. W. MacLellan, formerly of Waterville, York County, NB passed away September 26, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Noreen was born at Central Waterville, NB in 1929, a daughter of the late James and Willa (Stairs) Thornton. She is survived by three sisters, Gwen Christie, Central Waterville, NB, Deloris Kaley, Temperance Vale, NB and Edith Brewer, Hainesville, NB; three brothers, Arden Thornton (Marguerite), Delmont Thornton (Lorraine) and Zenas Thornton, all of Central Waterville, NB; two sisters-in-law, Pat Thornton, Ontario and Vesta Thornton, Upper Woodstock, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Noreen was predeceased by her husband, Leonard MacLellan, two sisters, Waneta Schriver and infant Jacqueline and four brothers, Gerald, Vernon, Alden and infant Ronald Thornton.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ivan Perry and Rev. Wayne Schriver officiating. Interment will follow in the Waterville Cemetery.
