The death of Brenda Joyce Miles, loving wife of Enos Miles occurred on Monday September 27, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born 1942 in Beaver Harbour, NB she was the daughter of the late Norman and Charlotte (Henry) Paul. Brenda was an avid reader, flower gardener, loved to travel and spend time with her family. In the early 1960's while in the Air Force, Enos and Brenda traveled extensively in Europe. Besides her loving husband Enos of 50 years, she is survived by her son Jeffrey Miles (Stella); daughter Donna McCullum (Brian); grandchildren Crystal, Brent, Ryan, Jennifer and Craig all of Saint John; brother Gerry Paul (Edith) of Beaver Harbour; sisters Pauline Vickery (Gerald) of Pennfield, Marilyn Hawkins Paul (David) of Letang, Winnifred Paul of St. George and Carol Stewart (Larry) of Letang; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). As per Brenda's wishes there will be no visitations. A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Thursday September 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. The procession will be leaving the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
