Passed peacefully away, after a heroic struggle with diabetes, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, June 8, 2009, in the presence of his loving family, Shaun Dunn, age 59 years. Predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Dunn and his aunt Loretta Cahill. Leaving to remember cherished memories are son Craig and his mother Viola; granddaughter Brianna; brother John (Alda); twin brother Michael (Flo); sisters: Ellen (Bill Maher), Charmaine (Bill Bursey), Scarlet (Bill Hann), Mary Lou (Elvis Gregory); special uncle Michael Cahill and wife Louise as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre, St. Clare’s and the Miller Centre for their care and kindness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 10th at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
