Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on June 8, 2009, Arthur Haynes, aged 90 years. Leaving to mourn his wife of 69 years, Nellie; sons: Arthur, Robert (Pat), Gregory (Pat), Justin (Toni), Wayne (Patsy); and daughter Madonna. Also leaving to mourn fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Vince Butler and his family; as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews and relatives. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday from 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At Arthur’s request, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to Daffodil Place or to a charity of one’s choice.
