It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert James Peddle announces his sudden passing on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 50 years Nina Peddle; son Kevin Peddle, Greenwood, NS; daughter Paulette MacIsaac (Leon), Paradise; grandchildren: Jessica, Robert, Nicolas and Kara; brother William Peddle (Violet), Whitebourne; sister Annie Leyte, Lewisporte, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary Hannah Peddle of Whitebourne; brothers; Melon and Dola Peddle; sisters: Floss and Margaret. Visitation took place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques on Monday, September 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 14 at 3:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Reverends Hannah Dicks officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
