Eric William Chylds Neil

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Neil announces his passing on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Born at Grand Bruit, Eric was the son of the Late Hubert and Gladys Neil. He was also predeceased by sisters: Vera Lawrence, Margaret Frampton, Leah Harvey and Loretta Billard, and Brother Earl Neil. Left with many cherished memories, his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Lilia. He is survived by daughters: Loretta (Minter) Walters of Burnt Islands, Diane (Alfred) Taylor of Burnt Islands, Margaret (Richard) White of Fall River, N.S., Erica (Brett) Walker of Beansville, ON, Annette (Clayton) Vardy of Isle aux Morts, Ada (John) Robbins of Wainfleet, ON, Lydia (Kenny) Thorne of Burnt Islands, Florence Boivin (Jaime Bryan) of Isle aux Morts. Grandchildren: Felicia, Alfred, Quentin, Amelia, Blair W, Roderick, Blair T, Jessica, Eric, John, Tamara, Kendra, Geneva, Kirkland. Great-grandchildren: Bethany, Brenden, Andrew, Lauren, Kadience. He also leaves to mourn Brother Austin (Eileen) of Lawrencetown, N.S. Sister Corella Strickland of North Sydney, N.S and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday evening, Thursday and Friday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral service took place on Saturday, September 25, 2010, 2 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Clayton Billard. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery.
