Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Calvin Snow of Botwood. He was 73 years of age. He retired from Baker's Construction in 1981. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Delphina Snow; son, Shannon; brothers Malcolm, Roy, Levi, Herbert; sisters, Nina, Minnie, Doris, Lucy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Hilda; son John (Sherry); daughters, Sherrie (Blair), Amanda (Tyler), Kathy (Jim). Also leaving to mourn are 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Stephen, Kayla, Hunter (one on the way), Matthew and Coleton; sisters, Evelyn (Ned), Winnie (Ivan) and a circle of relatives and friends. Majors Calvin and Beryl Collins willl conduct funeral services at The Salvation Army Citadel, Botwood on Friday, October 1, 2010 with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers are Sherrie and Blair, John and Sherry, Amanda and Kathy. Honorary pallbearers are Selby Langdon, Gary Snow and Randy Sheppard.
