RUSSELL VICKERS
We, the family of the late Russell Vickers, wish to express our sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent loss. A special thank you to those who sent sympathy and mass cards, emails, memorial and charitable donations, monetary gifts, floral arrangements, phone calls and those who brought food to our homes and traveled long distances to be with us. To Dr. Elizabeth McCormack, Dr. Nessim and the nurses on the 4th and 5th floors of the Northside General Hospital and to the doctors and nurses of ICU of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. Our thanks to Father John Thomas and Father Agit Kerketta for your visits and beautiful services. Our thanks also to Father Peter MacLeod and all those who attended the funeral service, St. Stephens Choir, reader, Tootie Keeling, altar servers and gift beares. Special thanks to Joe Burton for singing his lovely rendition of Amazing Grace. Thank you to the pallbearers: Devlin Vickers, Tom MacInnis, Brian Ferguson, Dwight Finlayson, Sheldon Young and David Jessome. The family would also like to express our appreciation to members of the Peace Keepers Honor Guard, Russell would have been pleased. To Legion Branch 83 for the lovely lunch, our thanks.
